Water Machine Rental Terms & Conditions

These Water Machine Rental Terms and Conditions form the basis of the rental agreement between Water Coolers for Hire (a trading name of HVS Global, referred to as 'we', 'us' or 'the Company') and the customer ('you' or 'the Customer'). Please read these terms carefully before entering into a rental agreement.

1. The rental agreement

By signing a rental agreement or confirming an order in writing, you agree to hire a water machine from Water Coolers for Hire on the terms set out in this document and in the specific agreement provided to you. The agreement begins on the date of installation and continues for the agreed initial term, unless terminated in accordance with these terms.

2. Installation

We will arrange installation of the water machine at your premises by one of our trained engineers at a mutually agreed date and time. Installation is included in your rental price. You are responsible for ensuring that a suitable water connection point and power supply are available at the installation location. For mains-fed machines, you must ensure access to a cold water supply connection.

3. Rental payments

Rental payments are charged as set out in your specific rental agreement. Payments are typically invoiced monthly or quarterly and are due within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Servicing and maintenance

We will service and maintain the water machine at regular intervals as part of your rental agreement. This includes filter replacements and sanitisation of the machine. You must provide reasonable access to the machine for our engineers to carry out servicing visits. We will contact you in advance to arrange a convenient time.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the safe keeping and reasonable use of the water machine during the rental period. You must not attempt to repair or modify the machine yourself, and must notify us promptly if the machine is damaged or develops a fault. You must not move the machine to a different premises without our prior written consent.

6. Faults and repairs

If the water machine develops a fault, please contact us on 01925 919828 or email sales@watercoolersforhire.co.uk and we will arrange a repair visit as soon as reasonably practicable. Repair costs for mechanical faults arising from normal use are covered by the rental agreement. Damage caused by misuse, negligence or accident may be charged to the Customer.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the rental agreement at the end of the initial term by giving written notice as specified in the agreement. Early termination of the agreement during the initial term may be subject to an early termination charge as set out in your specific agreement. On termination, you must allow us to collect the water machine from your premises within a reasonable time.

8. Title to equipment

The water machine remains the property of Water Coolers for Hire at all times. You do not acquire any ownership rights in the machine by entering into a rental agreement.

9. Liability

Our total liability to you under any rental agreement shall not exceed the total rental charges paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from a rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
